Redfern rundown terrace with little to no light. It was imperative that the client was able to turn this terrace around into a functional and bright modern rental. It was to have the appeal and character of an upmarket home but at the same time, remain functional and well thought out so that the client could gain maximum rental return. Light and use of natural light and light colour palette was imperative to make the small spaces work well.

We retained JDZ Designs to manage all design issues in the renovation of our small investment terrace in the inner city. It was great because Jeanette took control and managed the whole process for us, including colours, fittings, kitchen and bathrooms, tiles and outside rear design. She sourced and managed, and most importantly worked along side our Builder and his tradesmen effectively. She did an outstanding job with the result that we were able to rent the place to the first person who inspected it, who “loved it”! In any building work the “wow” factor is all important and this comes with the first look and feel of a place. We believe that Jeanette was able to achieve this and we would recommend her to anyone in a similar position. She has certainly added value to our place and we are so grateful!
